Our Story

A dear family member at age 47 died unexpectedly from complications related to type 2 diabetes. He was unaware that the symptoms he had were indicators of the disease. He was undiagnosed and completely unaware that he had type 2 diabetes when he went into the doctor for excessive thirst. Despite the hospital’s efforts to save him through insulin and daily dialysis, he died 10 days later. Our mission is to help others catch it early, and learn how to manage diabetes rather than facing a loss of ability or life.
